Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $3,001 a week in all, a taxable rate of $34.07 an hour plus $1,638 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Theatre, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, is available at our healthcare organization. This role involves performing radionuclide procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and operating nuclear medicine equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic patient care. The technologist ensures safety protocols are maintained and accurate imaging is obtained to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, and hold a valid NJDEP license, ARRT or NMTCB registry, and BLS by American Heart Association.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a busy hospital setting.
• Proficiency with GE Equipment, Spect, and Spect CT.
• Experience with PACS System, EPIC, Teletracking System, Nuclear Medicine Information System, and associated computer processing.
• Ability to perform general nuclear medicine and cardiac studies and adhere to safety standards in handling radioactive materials.
• Strong communication skills for patient, parent, and caregiver interactions.
• Ability to be on call and perform overtime as needed for patient care continuity.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean working environment and complying with all NRC, State, and JCAHO guidelines.
