Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview Inabia is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its Rehab Therapy team in Cimarron, Kansas. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a supportive rehab setting. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, organized, and comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication, cognition, and safe swallowing
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed
- Document evaluations, daily treatments, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other care team members
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards
- Schedule: 5 x 8-hour day shifts
- Consistent weekday daytime hours
- Active Kansas SLP license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Rehab or SNF experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
- Stable full-time day schedule
