Data Product Owner – Online Client Experience Data & BI Perm Hybrid A leading private markets investment firm is growing its digital client experience platform and is looking for a Data Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of data solutions that power client-facing digital tools and reporting. This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and business , connecting client needs with scalable, high-quality data solutions. You’ll define product roadmaps, work hands-on with data, and collaborate across product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to improve transparency and engagement. What You’ll Do Own the roadmap for data products supporting client-facing platforms. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and specifications. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data models and transformation logic. Manage delivery using agile practices, leading backlog prioritization and sprint planning. Partner with data engineering to ensure scalable integration, governance, and quality. Provide insights and reporting that enhance the client digital experience. What You Bring Proven experience as a Data Product Owner or in a similar product/data strategy role. Strong SQL skills; Python experience is a plus. Background in financial services or private markets preferred. Solid understanding of data governance, modeling, and quality frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience.
