Carpenter Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Lynden, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Construct, install, and repair building frameworks, structures, and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project specifications and layout requirements
• Perform rough carpentry, including framing walls, floors, partitions, rafters, and doorframes
• Complete finish carpentry tasks such as installing windows, molding, stairways, cabinetry, siding, and drywall
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble construction materials using hand and power tools
• Prepare jobsites by setting up work areas, scaffolding, and safety barriers as needed
• Calculate material quantities and assist with project planning
• Inspect existing structures and fixtures to identify damage or wear and perform repairs as needed
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, project specifications, and safety regulations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Experience with both rough and finish carpentry
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Knowledge of building codes and safe work practices
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
