Quality Analytical Tech - Warsaw, NC

The Quality Assurance Analytical Lab Technician coordinates the daily preparation of samples for analytical testing, performs analytical procedures and general laboratory sanitation. START pay $15.75 hourly. Core Responsibilities Performs analytical procedures; such as NIR, AA, Protein Analyzer, etc. Performs basic preparation techniques for analytical testing. Ensures instruments are properly calibrated. Enters analytical results into computer. Maintains proper sanitation in laboratory. Splits and grinds samples for analytical testing. Performs tasks which generate grain and ingredients dust in enclosed areas. Performs chemical procedures. Follows all safety and laboratory policies. Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy-Brown LLC subscribes. Responsible for understanding and complying with company EMS policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties. Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor. Reads and understands the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. Ability to work scheduled weekend and evening duties. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Must have ability to complete required applicable forms in English, which requires the ability to read and write in English. Work Environment & Physical Demands Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
