Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and function
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while ensuring patient comfort
• Document patient treatments and responses accurately in medical records
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Hampshire
• Must be comfortable working in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• CPR certification preferred
• Prior travel experience is a plus, but not required -- we welcome first-time travelers too!

Education

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and exercise techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Flexibility to adapt to different patient needs and facility protocols
