WL Lower Elementary Robotics Coach - Exhibit A Position

Elementary School Robotics Coach * Leads group of six (6) to ten (10) students in at least one (1) exhibition (any robotics organization consistent program-wide) annually * Assists with any major (beyond single level and/or team) events focused on robotics * Coordinates parents of their team * Participates in monthly communications between levels (high school, middle school, elementary school) for the purpose of resource management and monitoring student achievement) * Communicates with High School Head Coach on a monthly basis regarding status of program * Maintains records of money received and/or spent by Elementary School program * Attends at least one (1) community event organized by program * Attends annual sponsor night of High School program with at least three (3) team members SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises students, volunteers and assigned personnel.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE :
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program; ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents; skill in oral and written communication. Ability to work with staff, parents and children.
