Casino Porter Silverton Casino LLC - Las Vegas, NV 89139 Job Description This position is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Casino floor according to Company guidelines and standards. Principle Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for always maintaining the Silverton standards of service to guests and coworkers. Ensures the Silverton standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas, which include, but is not limited to, restrooms, casino areas, lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, back of house areas and exterior areas of the property. Always maintain a safe and pristine work environment. Works with safety as a priority and follows department and company safety standards. Thorough knowledge of applicable company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future. Monitors and maintains cleaning of assigned areas, including, but is not limited to, cleaning hard surfaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up trash, polishing metal, wiping down doors, cleaning mirrors and glass, cleaning slot machines, emptying ashtrays, cleaning baseboards, replacing and/or restocking paper products. Checks assigned areas for safety and repair issues. Responds to all calls for cleaning requests, spills, and biohazards. Complies with requests to assist in other areas as needed. Ability to use a two-way radio, ensuring professional and courteous communication. Other duties as assigned by management. Regular attendance on all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job. Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
