Must have own vehicle.Description: Surgical Associates offers general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses, and traumatic injuries. The General Surgeon is always on call for urgent/emergent surgery such as appendectomy and surgery to relieve bowel obstruction. Commonly performed surgical procedures include colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Other procedures include soft tissue mass excision, open and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, and oncologic surgery for breast or colon cancer. Antireflux surgery and skin grafting are also offered within the practice. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified prior to submission.
