Position Overview The Senior Surgical Account Manager will drive surgeon demand across the full Surgical Center of Technology (COT) portfolio, develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify practice trends and cultivate key customer relationships to achieve market growth and product adoption. Job Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact across MDT account teams, including District Managers (DM), Sales Area Directors (SAD), Sales Operations Specialists (SOS), and teams specializing in GYN and Hernia portfolios. Lead the creation and execution of account‑level contractual strategies. Optimize contracts and drive category expansion across Surgical. Own and execute quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key economic and clinical stakeholders. Drive adoption and utilization of all Surgical COT products, including: Stapling Energy Wound Closure Electrosurgery Situate Access & Instrumentation (A&I) Cultivate and strengthen relationships with field distribution partners. Maximize partnership programs and leverage account intelligence to increase market share. Key Performance Metrics Achieve or exceed disposable quota (strategic & core). Achieve or exceed hardware quota. Expand contract categories. Improve opportunity management and forecasting accuracy. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 4 years of sales experience. Field‑based role requiring at least 50% travel within the territory. Nice to Have Proven track record in sales within the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably in surgical or related fields. Strong understanding of clinical environments and ability to communicate complex product information to diverse stakeholders. Experience building and managing key customer relationships with decision‑makers in clinical and administrative roles. Ability to analyze business trends and use insights to develop actionable strategies. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Job Requirements Requires regular independent mobility. Regular interaction with a computer and communication with peers via telephone, e‑mail, instant messaging and in‑person.
