As a Director of Nursing , you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents. Pay Range - $90-100,000 depending on experience 18 days PTO (Paid Time Off) 401k with company match Company sponsored ongoing training and certification opportunities. Requirements Registered Nurse licensed according to the laws in employment. CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), First Aid, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Must have at least one (1) years of full-time experience, or the full-time equivalent, in nursing supervision or nursing administration in the management of addictions in a licensed substance abuse treatment facility, in an opioid treatment program or a facility providing detoxification services. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a licensed substance use disorders or mental health treatment facility. Experience with triaging in emergency situations, assisting with medical emergencies. Localized travel up to 10% may be required to attend meetings and conferences Responsibilities: Provide medical services directly to patients. Providing administrative oversight of the facility's nursing services, and where appropriate, directly supervising the facility's nursing team. Maintains appropriate records and medical files per state and federal regulations. Provide group/individual training and supervision to nursing team in medical and health/safety matters and properly maintaining medical equipment. Consult in the development, understanding, implementation and adherence to the policies and procedures for medication administration or assistance with self-administration of medication or both Administer and interpret TB/ Mantoux testing depending on state. Assisting the administrator of the facility in the development and maintenance of written objectives, policies and procedures, an organizational plan, and a quality assurance program for nursing services, and reviewing all nursing policies and procedures at least annually. Manages oversight of the pharmacy and assist in DEA Audits. In conjunction with the administrator and the governing authority of the program, planning and budgeting for nursing services. Ensuring the coordination and integration of nursing services with other patient care services to ensure continuity of care for each patient. Must document Nursing Progress Notes on all patients to include quarterly notes, monthly medication renewals, annual physicals. Ensuring that the program complies with required nursing team patterns. Assisting in developing written job descriptions for the nursing teammates and assigning duties of the nursing team. Participating in team conferences with the multidisciplinary team, and the patient care committee (if the facility chooses to establish a patient care committee).
