Our Hospital Features Advanced digital radiology and diagnostic tools Dedicated surgical and dental suites Ultrasound capabilities Spacious treatment and hospitalization areas Multiple exam rooms for efficient workflow Grooming and training facilities Outdoor pet activity and enrichment spaces Typical Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities Safely restraining patients for examinations and procedures Assisting veterinarians and technicians during appointments and treatments Preparing exam rooms, surgical suites, and treatment areas Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining medical equipment Collecting patient histories and recording medical information Assisting with laboratory sample collection and processing Administering medications as permitted by state regulations Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients Educating clients on basic pet care, medications, and discharge instructions Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant required Strong animal handling and restraint skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and client service skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Community Veterinary Partners
