Part-time AccountantOur client is a leading organization in the Columbus market. They are a growing company looking to add a part-time Accountant to their team. Looking for a long-term partner for their accounting group.Responsibilities of the Part-time Accountant:The part-time Accountant will summarize details in separate ledgers and transfer data to general ledger.The part-time Accountant will verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to general ledger.Reconcile and balance accounts.Compile reports to show cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.Process accounts payable weekly.Generate monthly statements to customers.Complete records to or through trial balance.The part-time Accountant will support month-end close process.20-25 hours per week.Preferred Experience of the Part-time Accountant:Accounts payable experience is a mustGeneral accounting experienceAttention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid computer skills-including ExcelFriendly and willing to help where necessarySalary Range: $21 – $26 per hour based on experience. This is an in-office position.
