Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in students’ lives by providing specialized support to a virtual academy in a part-time capacity. This contract opportunity allows skilled school psychologists to deliver critical services while balancing work and personal commitments. The position involves working 20 hours per week to help foster a positive educational environment and ensure all students have the support they need to succeed.
What we seek:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state credential/certification to practice as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting, with preference for virtual or remote service delivery
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention for students of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Proficiency with technology and virtual platforms for assessments and consultations
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ needs and eligibility for services
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students in a virtual setting
- Consult with families, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Utilize virtual platforms to maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and communication
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student support and school improvement
- Support crisis intervention and provide guidance on best practices in mental health and learning strategies
