Understands service offerings so that they can identify and articulate new business opportunities and provide sales support. Drives all aspects of project management activity, including collaborating and coordinating across the organization and ensuring the following: Individuals possess domain, technical or process authority at company, may be an authority in industry. This person manages projects critical to the company. May perform an individual Contributor leadership role for a larger PMO.Independently manages the largest and most complex projects, programs, or- portfolios that require high levels of functional integration and organizational change management.Impact is on multiple functions or processes and typically has global impact.Typically has large budget responsibility.Responsible for driving change and continually improving the efficiency of the Project Program Management department.Viewed as a subject matter expert on project management methodologies.Regularly interacts with senior leadership on project status. Responsible for establishing project management standards and processes for group. Responsible for mentoring and developing the team members within the Project Program Management department. Requirements• Healthcare experience required.• 15+ years of previous Project Management experience required.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. • PMP certification preferred.• Expert in the application of project management principles. Strong and proven coordination and project management skills. • Applications/Infrastructure Project Management experience required.Basic Qualifications• Expert understanding of operations or expert background in healthcare and organizational relationships. Knowledge of the Project Management Approach, its tools, processes and facilities. General understanding of the Business Process Redesign (BPR) methodology, its tools, processes and facilities.• Highly organized; detailed oriented.• Excellent interpersonal skills; solid written and oral communications skills.• Ability to prioritize work and operate under tight deadlines.• Attentive to detail and ability to always follow-through to completion.• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, results-oriented.• Strongly motivated and flexible, able to work independently; recognizes ‘next steps’ with little to no coaching. • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.• Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project required.• Responsibility for Work of Others: Persistent and effective in securing deliverables from sub-team project managers/business owners.Posting Date:Department:PAS Harvard Dedicated - 1465950021
