Job Description & Requirements Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Round Rock, Texas. Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as required. Prepare, implement, and document plan of care; communicate patient’s condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Qualifications: BLS Provider obtained within one month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Registered Nurse license obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications accepted; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred. Diploma from an accredited nursing school/college or required professional licensure at time of hire. Compensation: Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
