Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Trauma Surgery (Nights)

Responsibilities Perform surgical procedures related to trauma and emergency cases Evaluate and manage patients in both pre-operative and post-operative settings Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans Provide on-call surgical services as required Document all patient interactions and surgical procedures accurately Stay current with best practices and advancements in trauma surgery Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts Experience in trauma surgery, preferably in an acute care setting Strong surgical skills and proficiency in trauma procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Commitment to maintaining patient safety and quality of care Level III Trauma Overnight coverage EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
