Starting Pay $20/hour, plus incentives. Manager in Training Position Summary The Manager in Training position is an entry level management role focused on inspiring and leading associates to achieve Mike’s Purpose with every customer. Primary Responsibilities Execute Mike’s Purpose and deliver on our Team Member Promise, serving as a role model for associate behavior and performance. Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining wash quality, staffing, and handling customer complaints and damages professionally. Assist the General Manager in achieving location goals and maintaining all Mike’s Carwash standards and guidelines. Complete location orientation and training checklists, provide ongoing coaching, and document performance feedback as required. Assist in property and equipment maintenance, completing OPEX checklists and using the fix‑it book for uncompleted repairs. Participate in a structured management training program and pursue continuous personal development. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Work Schedule Work all scheduled shifts. Work at least five days and 40 hours each week, including every other weekend (unless otherwise approved). Close at least two nights each week. Open one morning each week, Monday–Thursday only. Work five days leading up to Christmas. Transfer between stores within the market, if required. Physical Demands Communicate verbally and in writing, hear at conversational level, see for depth perception and color distinction. Stand or walk continuously; occasionally sit, stoop, reach, twist, pick up 50 lbs. up to 3 ft., pull 10 lbs. up to 10 ft., carry up to 50 lbs. for 10 ft., bend, kneel, balance, climb stairs and ladders rarely. Work Environment Work with machinery with moving parts and wear gloves. Work outdoors in temperatures ranging from 0–100°F. Work alone occasionally. Work with chemicals and wear eye or hearing protection frequently. Minimum Qualifications Reasoning: deal with practical problems and implement appropriate solutions. Mathematical: score 80% or higher on the Money Handling Skills Assessment without a calculator.
