In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in welding processes to ensure high-quality production and compliance with industry standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in welding processes to ensure high-quality production and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize welding procedures for various manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support to resolve welding-related issues in production
- Conduct weld inspections and ensure compliance with codes and specifications
- Collaborate with quality teams to analyze weld defects and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance weld quality and efficiency
- Maintain documentation and reports related to welding activities and procedures
- B.S. degree in Welding Engineering or Materials Science from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with a variety of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and resistance welding
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Must be able to travel up to 10-20% of the time as needed.
- Physically able to support shop-floor operations which includes lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and working in industrial environments.
