Inpatient Clinical Dietitian

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a fulltime Clinical Dietitian at WellStar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA . This 517-bed adult hospital is a Level 1 Trauma academic hospital with 68 adult critical care beds (Trauma, MICU, ICU, Neurology ICU and CVICU). Our Dietitians have order writing privileges. This opportunity is ideal for both Registered Dietitian Eligible candidates as well as experienced RDs! What You'll Do Provide nutritional care for patients in Med-Surg, Surgery and Step-down units Provide feeding tube placement Work 1 weekend day a month, providing hospital-wide coverage Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses Precept dietetic interns What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
