Following our move into a new facility, we are actively expanding our specialty services and seeking a Criticalist who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

You'll work alongside dedicated emergency and specialty teams in a state-of-the-art environment designed to support advanced diagnostics, critical care, and multidisciplinary collaboration. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Manage high-acuity emergency and ICU patients, including triage and stabilization.
• Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to protocol development.
• Perform advanced therapies, including mechanical ventilation and other critical care procedures utilizing available hospital resources.
• Support ongoing growth of the Emergency & Critical Care service and specialty programs.
• Engage in continuing education and mentorship opportunities within the Ethos network.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Kansas veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Emergency & Critical Care (DACVECC) or completion of an ACVECC-approved residency training program.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
