Java Full Stack Developer – Java + Python

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to join our engineering team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, microservices, and modern front-end technologies .

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
Develop backend services and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework .
Develop Python-based APIs, automation scripts, data-processing solutions, and integrations.
Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 .
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices .
Work with Kafka or other messaging/event-driven platforms .
Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB , etc.
Implement unit, integration, and automated testing.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical documentation.
Work closely with QA, DevOps, product, and business teams.

Required Skills

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong Java/J2EE development experience.
Strong Spring Boot / Spring Framework experience.
Hands-on Python development experience.
Strong experience with REST APIs and Microservices .
Experience with React or Angular .
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript .
Experience with Kafka, MQ, or event-driven architecture .
Strong SQL/database experience.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab .
Experience with AWS or Azure .
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

Java 11/17/21 experience.
Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django .
Docker/Kubernetes.
Redis.
AWS services.
AI/ML or GenAI integration experience.
Financial services/banking experience.

Interview Requirement

Candidates must be available for a Face-to-Face interview in Charlotte, NC.
Local candidates or candidates who can reliably commute/relocate to Charlotte are preferred.
