Registered Nurse (RN) - Psych

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Behavioral Health to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong de-escalation skills and a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients.

Position Information

Role: RN
Specialty: Behavioral Health
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Availability to cover shifts as needed

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 96 bed facility with 4 units of 20-26 patients each
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, and Adult Acute; 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/Substance Use Disorder
EHR: HCS
Patient Population: Adolescents (13-17 years) and adults (18 years and older)

Qualifications

Required Education: Current RN certification/licensure in the state
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related setting preferred
Required Certifications: BLS, HWC
Preferred Skills: Experience in behavioral health, medical or dual diagnosis, and knowledge of CIWA and COWS protocols

Personality Fit

The successful candidate should be professional, compassionate, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with patients and their families.

Scrub Color: Navy
Unacceptable Attire: Casual wear

Our facility focuses on acute stabilization in behavioral health with an average length of stay of 7-10 days. Collaboration with an experienced team ensures comprehensive care for patients in a supportive environment.
