Front Desk Supervisor

Hotel: Huntsville Embassy Suites 800 Monroe Street Huntsville, AL 35801 Full time Compensation Range: $17.00-$20.06 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications) Responsibilities Supervise daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check‑ins, check‑outs, and all related tasks. Coach, train, and motivate front desk associates, serving as the team's lead resource. Handle guest concerns with grace, urgency, and a can‑do attitude, setting the tone for service. Monitor cash handling, prepare shift reports, and maintain compliance with brand and safety standards. Assist wherever needed, such as answering phones, updating the reader board, or supporting VIP arrivals. Qualifications Customer service and leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to keep teams calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, coordinating with guests, staff, and other departments. Detail‑oriented and organized, managing shift reports and guest requests efficiently. Tech‑confident, comfortable using hotel systems, email, and reports. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
