Location Main Hospital - New Brunswick Pay Hourly: $17.41 – $18.38 per hour. Pay Transparency: the above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position in New Jersey. Compensation will depend on candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience. Job Overview Quality Assurance Coordinator assures that all patient meal trays are checked accurately, tube feedings and baby formulas are prepared according to correct standards, specialized formula is assembled and distributed using sanitary techniques, a neat and clean work area is maintained, refrigerators and freezers are stocked and managed, patient meal trays may be delivered as required, menu selections for pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients are coordinated, soiled trays are collected, and pantry refrigerators are maintained to Department of Health standards. Responsibilities Prepare tube feeding and baby formula. Accurately check patient meal trays. Stock refrigerators and freezers according to proper procedure. Use sanitary techniques during preparation. Deliver patient meal trays to patient rooms. Collect soiled trays from patient rooms. Required Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Experience in a hospital Food Service Department. Excellent customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience in Healthcare Food Service. Experience preparing enteral tube feedings and baby formula. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Work Schedule 6 am – 2:30 pm, 11:30 am – 8:00 pm. Every other weekend/holiday rotation required.
