Pay Rate: up to $25.00 per hour
Per Diem (4 days / 5 days) Every Weekend or Every Other Weekend

The Enclave at Rye is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for providing quality meals in a healthcare and rehabilitation setting.

Our team is dedicated to creating a positive dining experience for residents while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, sanitation, and customer service.

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements

• Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with sanitation and safety guidelines

• Review production sheets and prepare food in appropriate quantities

• Assist with meal service and ensure timely delivery of meals

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas

• Properly store food and supplies following facility procedures

• Work collaboratively with dietary staff and management

• Follow all local, state, and federal food handling regulations

• Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, nursing home, rehabilitation, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
