The State Group is seeking a Fleet Compliance Manager based in Louisville, Kentucky.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensure the safety of the team and the public by enforcing all organizational, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

• Maintain and ensure driver compliance and the confidentiality of DOT employee files, including drug testing, Dielectric testing, Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs), and required driver credentials and training records.

• Manage the telematics platform and assume overall responsibility for electronic logs, ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations.

• Manage the safety driver system and training portal.

• Collaborate with the Risk Manager on investigations into vehicle accidents, mechanical failures, and near-misses, identifying root causes and developing action plans to prevent recurrence.

• Implement and monitor safety policies and training programs to ensure all fleet operations comply with federal, state, and company safety standards.

• Prepare fleet compliance reports and support internal and external audits, communicate outstanding issues, and track corrective actions through to completion.

• Maintain records of individual vehicle titles, insurance, performance, and costs; track quarterly IFTA filings; ensure that pre- and post-trip inspections are completed, reviewed, properly addressed, and retained in accordance with company policy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

• 5+ years of experience in DOT and driver compliance.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and stakeholders across office and field environments.

• Professionalism, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

• A bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field preferred.
