Job Description

Purpose of Job: To provide quality food service to members and guests of the Michigan Athletic Club.

Responsibilities:

• Provide fast, friendly and accurate service.
• Point of Sale Entry; taking orders on the touch screen unit, cash handling, cash-out procedures.
• Assist the cook in filling orders.
• Food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and stocked environment in the MAC.
• Follow all applicable health codes.
• Maximize sales and minimize food waste.

Job Requirements

General Requirements: None

Work Experience: Previous customer service experience

Education: Must be 18 years of age to apply and have high school diploma or GED

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Required: Must have the ability to multi-task, must have a friendly disposition and the desire to serve people, must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
• Preferred: Previous food service experience
