Travel Rad Tech Company: Fusion Medical Staffing Facility – Grosse Pointe, Michigan Job Details: Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results. Responsibilities Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders. Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedure takes place. Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare team. Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues and report malfunctions as needed. Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice. The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Physical Abilities – Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50–100lbs), push, pull, and bend. Technical/Motor Skills – Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements – Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory – Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate. Qualifications Minimum one year's experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
