About the Position

Job Opportunity – Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Department operates from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Patient ratio of 3:1.

• Focus on Pre-op and Phase II Post-op care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• 60-bed unit with daily census of approximately 75 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Free onsite parking provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in perioperative nursing within the last 3 years
• 2 years of experience specifically in Pre-op and Phase II Post-op RN assistance required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Basic arrhythmia experience and ability to pass telemetry examination prior to start date (80% passing score with strict criteria for lethal rhythms and heart block identification)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Willingness to float as needed within the facility
