Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring PCU experience and BLS/ACLS certification. Details Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital environment Unit has 16 beds with a 4:1 patient ratio Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 PCTs per shift Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Floating required to other PCU or telemetry units No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide collaborative, team-based nursing care within a progressive care setting Best suited for candidates with a collaborative, team-player personality Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered First-time travelers are welcome to apply These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
