Junior Data EngineerWe are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join a growing data team focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines. This role offers a strong opportunity for professional growth through hands-on experience with modern data technologies, mentorship from experienced engineers, and direct exposure to business intelligence and analytics initiatives.The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of experience in data, analytics, or software engineering and is eager to deepen their expertise in cloud-based data platforms, data transformation, and reporting solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from a variety of sources.Build and maintain integrations with external systems, APIs, and third-party platforms.Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing system reliability and performance.Create, maintain, and enhance business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions.Ensure data quality through validation, testing, and monitoring processes.Contribute to the design and development of data models and transformation workflows.Respond to ad hoc data requests and business reporting needs.Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, workflows, and reporting assets.Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to promote best practices.Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.Required SkillsStrong SQL skills with the ability to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.Working knowledge of Python for data engineering or analytics tasks.Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or similar platforms.Experience with, or willingness to learn, modern data transformation tools such as dbt.Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, or comparable platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ETL/ELT and data integration tools.Exposure to workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or similar technologies.Familiarity with cloud services and data infrastructure.Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.Academic, internship, or professional experience in data modeling and database design.Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices in analytics.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence, software engineering, or a related discipline.Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written communication skills, particularly in documentation and technical explanation.Preferred Technologies: SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, Git, BI/Visualization Tools, APIs, Cloud Data Platforms, ETL/ELT Tools.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
