Track, transfer, or save your earned wages instead of waiting for payday Position Summary: Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Environmental Services Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout patient care and non-patient areas. This important role supports infection prevention efforts and ensures a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff. What You’ll Do: Perform routine and detailed cleaning of patient rooms, offices, public areas, and other assigned spaces Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment Clean and disinfect beds, restrooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment Replenish supplies and remove trash and linen promptly Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment Follow infection prevention guidelines and safety procedures Properly use cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety equipment Respond to department needs and complete assigned tasks efficiently Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred: Previous hospital or healthcare housekeeping experience Additional Requirements: Must be 18 years old to operate certain floor machines and carpet equipment At Finger Lakes Health, your work matters.
