Logistics Coordinator

This Position reports to the Gibby Group Logistics Manager. Key Responsibilities Serves as the liaison between transportation companies, processing plants, producers, and end user customers through effective and prompt communication. Maintains delivery schedule records for each transportation company delivering products. Works with all necessary parties to prepare and adjust delivery schedules as needed to accommodate customer needs. Reviews delivery records submitted by transportation companies and processing plants daily and identifies and resolves any discrepancies between scheduled deliveries and actual deliveries. Maintains records of product and usage at each location. Cultivates strong relationships with all parties and maintains flexibility to work through challenges that come with last minute schedule changes, route changes, and other delivery issues. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements Demonstrate a high level of adaptability, with the ability to smoothly transition between different roles and responsibilities as needed. Communicate effectively in person, on the telephone, and in writing. Knowledge of logistics, trucking, or freight dispatching. Complete multiple tasks and solve problems. Ability to work under high pressure situations and think clearly and effectively. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computer programs to organize and manage data. Maintain a positive attitude. High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Working Conditions Full time. Able to work a flexible schedule as needed. On-call availability is required on weekends and evenings as needed.
