CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR

Customer Service Liaison

Acts as a liaison to consumers to provide products and service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work in customer service role required.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, decision making, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently, develop effective solutions, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, responsible, dependable, and able to fulfill obligations while being flexible.
• Good organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks.
• Good computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and ethical decision-making in all aspects of work.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Job Responsibilities

• Customer order entry.
• Confer with customers by telephone or via email to provide information about products, pricing, availability, product uses, and delivery.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• Select the correct products or assist customer in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
• Works directly with the sales team to gather, organize and distribute samples to customers and prospective customers.
• Identifies complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Works with the department supervisor to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
• Liaison for customer orders between all departments.
• Analyzes information and uses logic to address work-related issues and problems.
• Establishes performance goals and consistently works toward achieving assigned objectives.
• Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential options to choose the most appropriate one.
• Assists with Accounts Payable when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position

• Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions.
• Not exposed to any adverse environmental conditions. (Usually office work).
