Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU for a travel assignment in a surgery center setting located in Tuba City, Arizona, United States. Start date: June 15, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,225 to $2,346 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Any. This position primarily supports a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit with occasional floating to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds when census requires.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, monitoring, and response to changing conditions.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and care plans; support life-sustaining interventions as indicated.
- Document patient status, ventilator support (as applicable), and responses to treatment; communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide after-hours recovery care for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed.
- Float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds when census is low, while maintaining safety and high acuity care standards.
- Adhere to established policies, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines; participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.

Requirements
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the United States (or a U.S. territory)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years ICU experience
- Certifications: Must maintain current BLS and ACLS; PALS, TCAR, and NIHSS must be completed within six months of hire
- Special requirements: Ability to work in ICU and float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds as needed; orientation is every two weeks
