• • Where You Will Work: 6 South is a 34-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. Most common diagnoses are COPDPneumoniaDiabetic UlcerPancreatitis Abdominal PainAltered mental status ESRD A Nurse on our Unit will gain experience in drains of all kinds wound vacs central lines NGT DHT and all surgical things!

• ExpectationsWereLooking For: 1 year of inpatient nursing experience least 6 months required experiencetocome inoutside of the New Grad residency of an accredited or approved program in Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practicesBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• WhatYoullDo: As a skilled and compassionate RN you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe therapeutic carein accordance withestablished standards policies and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice clinical decision making compassion and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

For more than 100 years Atrium Health Mercy has treatedapproximately 80-110 Emergency Department and 130-212 in-patients daily with a special combination of human compassion and leading-edgeexpertise.
