Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: 2 years in outpatient clinic infusion License: Valid compact or state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: - Experience in accessing and managing ports - Skills in administering chemotherapy and blood products - Ability to handle acute tumor lysis syndrome - Knowledge of antiemetics and patient education Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for an outpatient clinic infusion role. The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will manage a caseload of 6-7 patients per shift. The unit operates Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. Patient demographics include individuals diagnosed with GU cancers, hematology issues, and sarcomas. The role requires experience with Epic documentation systems. Candidates must possess the required certifications and have the ability to handle specific patient care tasks related to oncology. There will be interdisciplinary support available in the unit. All candidates must comply with credentialing requirements. References from supervisory roles are necessary to support the application.
