Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Participate in on-call rotation; must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
• Complete all required facility modules prior to start date — modules are time-sensitive and must be prioritized promptly upon assignment confirmation
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 18 months RN experience; 2 years preferred
• AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certification required
• Must pass EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation; assignment may be cancelled upon failure)
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required — no exceptions
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; requests submitted after will likely not be approved
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of RN experience, particularly in a Cath Lab or EP environment
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and EP procedures
