Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of electrical products, receiving and checking incoming deliveries, and maintaining organized stock levels and ensuring our customers and trade professionals receive the right materials, on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

· Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently

· Receive, check, and process incoming deliveries from suppliers

· Store stock correctly and maintain organized warehouse layout

· Conduct regular stock counts and cycle checks

· Operate electrical / warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet trucks

· Liaise with the sales and trade counter teams to fulfil urgent orders

· Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety regulations

· Update stock management systems with accurate inventory data

Qualifications

Required

· Experience in electrical wholesale or trade distribution environment preferred

· Forklift certification required (counterbalance or reach)

· Knowledge of electrical products and components a plus

· Valid driver's license with clean driving record required

· Must successfully pass a background check and DOT physical examination

· Physically active role involving driving, lifting, and loading materials throughout the day

· Must be able to withstand extended periods of driving throughout the workday

Preferred

· Working knowledge of electrical products, components, and industry terminology

· Experience with stock control and inventory management processes

· Ability to accurately read and interpret delivery notes, picking lists, and purchase orders

· Solid understanding of health & safety regulations within an electrical trade distribution environment

· Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams

· Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $25-35 per hour, commensurate with experience

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Minimal Overtime Construction Site, Warehouse, Field Work , Travel Requirement
