Repair Associate
Eastridge Worforce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Repair Associate to join our growing team in Fremont, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience repairing computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles, electronics, or other hardware who enjoy troubleshooting and solving technical problems. If you have a passion for diagnosing issues, replacing components, and restoring equipment to working condition, we'd love to hear from you!
Location: Fremont, CA Pay: $26-$27/hr Schedule: Full-Time | Day shift Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
About the Role Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware failures on electronic equipment and computer systems.
- Perform component replacements and basic to advanced repair activities.
- Test and validate repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Identify root causes of hardware failures and document repair findings.
- Read and follow repair procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate repair records and update production systems.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Meet daily productivity and quality goals while maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in hardware or electronics repair preferred.
- Experience repairing one or more of the following:
- Computers or laptops
- Mobile phones or tablets
- Gaming consoles
- Servers or networking equipment
- Consumer electronics
- Industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Automotive electronics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with server hardware or data center equipment.
- Component-level repair, soldering, or rework experience.
- Ability to interpret schematics or technical documentation.
- Familiarity with BIOS updates, firmware, or hardware validation.
