Full Time Front Desk Medical ReceptionistProRehab Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team!This will be a float position for our Louisville clinics-Must have reliable transportation! This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same, and where your ability to stay calm, follow through, and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.What we offer:Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffFamily Building and Parental Leave Benefits401(k) with employer matching up to 4%Structured onboarding with a 30/60/90-day development plan and ongoing support from clinic leadershipClear growth pathways; many of our front desk team members have advanced into clinic management, operations, and leadership rolesA collaborative team culture where no one is left on an island; you'll have access to leadership and a built-in buddy system across clinic locationsQualifications• High School Diploma or GED• Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required.• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism• A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the teamResponsibilities• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls• Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentationAboutConfluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
