About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency at Army Health Clinic Moncrief located in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Basic Requirement for Engineering Technician: Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes monitoring utility systems for preventive maintenance, performing quality assurance inspections of engineering work projects, and preparing designs, specifications or cost estimates for assigned systems in a medical facility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
