*M-Th, or Tu-F* *IV trained and sterile compounding experience* Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Wellspan guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Certified Pharmacy Technician or Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician EPIC exp required Pyxis required RTO: MAX 7 days WEEKENDS: n/a CALL REQUIREMENTS: n/a HOLIDAYS: as needed FLOATING: n/a UNIT INFO: Pursuant to the needs and offerings of the hiring department, essential job accountabilities may include the following: - Receives and stocks deliveries of pharmaceuticals and other supplies. - Prepares, packages, and labels medications prior to dispensing. - Delivers medications to care areas within the hospital. - Delivers medications to off-site locations. - Manages pharmacy inventory management, including use of electronic inventory management systems. - Monitors product expirations and removing outdated stock from inventory. - Responds to product recalls. - Compounds non-sterile and sterile medication preparations. - Cleans and disinfects procedures. - Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones and maintaining adequate supplies. - Identifies at least one area of specialized skill or expertise. - Trains/mentors new pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns. - Maintains sufficient additional criteria as outlined in the Pharmacy Technician Career Ladder criteria grids.
