Location Transform patient care and the community as an Intensivist in Aiken, South Carolina. Team and Setting Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273‑bed acute care hospital, a primary stroke center, and a community‑based teaching hospital that offers a comprehensive range of specialties and services. It has a 20‑bed closed ICU (med/surg/cardio) staffed by one intensivist from 7 am to 7 pm; TeleICU covers nights (this is a day‑shift‑only role). An internal medicine residency program ensures residents are always present during the day. The hospital administration is highly collaborative, with the CEO actively supporting critical care initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent patient care in the 20‑bed ICU. Teach and mentor Internal Medicine residents. Collaborate effectively with ICU team members and other hospital departments. Use EMR: Cerner. Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible critical care physician (MD or DO). Ability to perform all technical skills required in a critical care setting. Commitment to excellence in clinical service and strong problem‑solving abilities. Schedule 14–15 clinical day shifts per month.
