Stroke Unit Registered Nurse

Schedule: Full Time Nights (36hrs/week)

Located on the fifth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West

The Stroke Unit is a multi-faceted floor offering the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills

29-bed, Level II Stroke Center with state-of-the-art equipment and monitoring

In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.

Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
