A Physical Therapist opportunity is available at a new 90-bed acute care hospital opening Spring 2026 in Gainesville, FL, featuring comprehensive emergency services, advanced surgical care, and a 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.

The role. In this position, you will evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in close collaboration with physicians and the broader care team. Day-to-day work centers on delivering evidence-based interventions to restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life, while monitoring progress and refining plans as patients advance through recovery. You will maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient outcomes and provide education to patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that support independence. The role also involves cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth care transitions, as well as mentoring therapy assistants or students as opportunities arise.

What we're looking for.

• State Licensed Physical Therapist Required
• Vocational School Graduate Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1+ years of Physical Therapist experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply

Schedule. Days with rotating weekends, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; schedules are typically staggered depending on hospital needs.

Compensation. $35.77 - $49.18/hr plus Sign On: On a case by case basis; Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
