Level 1 Medication Aide

Bethany Care Center is currently seeking Level 1 Medication Aide(LIMA) to join our team.

NIGHT SHIFT DAY SHIFT

Duties and Responsibilities

• ·Preparing medications for patients
• ·Administering various types of medication throughout the day
• ·Recording every dose of medication administered
• ·Observing patients to look for changes
• ·Notifying nurses about changes or medical issues with patients
• ·Following all safety protocols
• ·Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• ·Help Residents with personal hygiene
• ·Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• ·Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• ·Assist other staff in other departments as needed
• ·Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• ·Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• ·Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Skills and Qualifications

• ·Written and verbal communication skills
• ·Strong attention to detail
• ·Knowledge of medical terminology and conditions
• ·Ability to prepare medication doses accurately
• ·Patient, calm demeanor
• ·Strong problem-solving skills
