You'll assemble, troubleshoot and program control panels, while enjoying a predictable M-F work schedule, strong benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.Work with an established industry leader with a strong sense of purpose and solid employee benefits.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Electrical Controls Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Assembles control panels according to specifications, includes back plate set up, wiring, modifying, enclosing, and packaging of control panels and parts.Kits production work orders by cutting wires, installing crimps, cutting din rail, cutting wire tray/cover and pulling parts from bill of materials.Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs control panels.Programs circuit boards, firmware chips, and logic devices.Fabricates protrusions in fiberglass, metal and plastic enclosures with drills, plasma cutter, CNC router, various pneumatic tools, etc.Assembles complex enclosures and electrical components.Solders various electrical components and control panels.Electrical Controls Technician Qualifications:Assembly of electrical controls experience in a manufacturing type of environment is required.Ability to learn quickly and work with an efficient and cohesive team.Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.Shop math knowledge is required.Steel toe or composite shoes are required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
