A busy outpatient surgery center in Bradenton, FL is urgently seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Tech to join our team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional vascular procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking per diem, part-time, or near full-time hours (up to 30 hours per week).

Position Details

• Employment Type: Per Diem, Part-Time, or Up to 30 Hours/Week

• Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center

• Start Date: ASAP

• Schedule: Flexible

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures

• Assist with interventional vascular procedures

• Set up and operate manifolds and other cath lab equipment

• Prepare sterile fields and ensure procedural readiness

• Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular interventions

• Independently manage hemostasis of access sites, including:

  • Arterial groin access

  • Bilateral groin access

  • Venous groin access

  • Brachial access

  • Radial access

  • Pedal access

• Monitor patient status and support procedural workflow

• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards

• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and equipment records

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and cath lab team members

Requirements

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential preferred

• Candidates who are highly cross-trained and experienced in scrubbing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures will also be considered

• Demonstrated experience using manifolds during cardiac catheterization procedures

• Strong knowledge of interventional vascular procedures

• Must be able to independently manage hemostasis of various vascular access sites

• Previous Cath Lab Scrub Tech experience in a cardiac setting required

• Current BLS Certification required

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
